Welcome to this edition of Thankful Thursday!  Whether you're here for the first time or have been visiting each week for a while, I am so glad you have taken the time to visit.

I am thankful for many things this week including:

* Getting this post done!  Seriously.  I almost did not.  That would have been a blow to me, as I've not missed a week since starting this link up!  As I said, if you're new here, I'm glad you're reading!  If you've been coming around here a while, I'm glad you're back!

* Sleep.  I'm thankful that I only have to set my alarm for the days I work and not Monday through Friday.  School's out.  I can ditch the one alarm set on my least til mid-August!

* Reading.  I've mentioned a couple times lately that I've been reading an awful lot lately.  I've managed to dig in to some great fiction books and haven't been able to put them down til they were finished!  I just finished reading books one and two of a trilogy {the third book is due out in October} by Sarah Fine.  It's the "Guards of the Shadowlands" trilogy.  I finished the first book, Sanctum, in just a couple days and immediately dug into the second book, Fractured.  I read that one in a day.  Perhaps I'll share more thoughts on the books here one day, but if you're looking for good Christian fiction, this isn't it.  If you are into dystopian young adult fiction, along the lines of Divergent or The Mortal Instruments series, then you might enjoy this if you haven't discovered it yet.  I'll say that the premise is not "happy" and is maybe more on the "morbid" side, but I found it to be rather fascinating.  Look into it if you're curious.  Different, for sure, but great reads.  I tend to read a lot of fiction books that are more on the "grim" side of the spectrum.  Anyway, I love finding books that I can get so wrapped up in that I can't put them down until I finish.  Now I have to wait until October for the third installment.

* Work.  I just love my job.  Really, I do.  It's part time in the cafe and bookstore at church.  I work a few days a week.  The hours have been great.  The environment is wonderful, as are my co-workers.  I have had more coffee in the last couple months of working there than perhaps ever in my life up until the last couple of months, but it's all good!  One of the "perks" of working in a cafe!

What are you thankful for this week?
