Daily Wisdom Challenge - Week 49

On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.  Our pastor calls it the Daily Wisdom Challenge {or the "Twitter Bible Study"}.  The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and post insight from your reading each day, in 140 characters or less!  You can find a reading plan at YouVersion.

Here is what I learned over the past week:

1 John 3:23 Believe in Jesus Christ. Love one another. What God asks of us is not that difficult.

1 John 4:21 If we love God, then we must love ALL our brothers and sisters. Not just the ones that suit is. If that is the case, then we don't love God.

1 John 5:19-20 To know Christ is to see God. Christ in our world is to see how far from God the world around us is. To see this and know God is to know that there is nothing to fear in our life with Him.

2 John 1:5-6 Love one another. That is God's greatest command. Following His path also shows love.

3 Jn 1:13-14 Sometimes the best of what we have to share with others is done face to face. Put away technology sometime and VISIT someone!

Jude 1:20 Believers should stand together in faith and prayer. Many will try to attack and ridicule because of their unbelief. We must stand firm.

Prov 29:18 Joy comes from living in God's will. It shouldn't be seen as a burden.
