Daily Wisdom Challenge - Week 46

On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.  Our pastor calls it the Daily Wisdom Challenge {or the "Twitter Bible Study"}.  The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and post insight from your reading each day, in 140 characters or less!  You can find a reading plan at YouVersion.

Here is what I learned over the past week:

Heb 11:1 Faith is not blind acceptance. It is a bold confidence in knowing what IS and what will be without having to see.

Heb 11:29 If God parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, will He not do the same for us in our trials? Have faith!!

Heb 12:1-2 When we consider the joy that awaits, it is worth doing all we can to rid ourselves of the things that are keeping us from following the right path now!

Prov 27:19 What is in our hearts reflects who we really are. It is worth taking a personal inventory to see if we like what we see!

Psalm 115:1 It is God who deserves all the glory, not man. Man can never accomplish all that God has and will accomplish.

James 1:5-6 If you need wisdom, seek God. He isn't going to get mad at you for asking questions if you do so in faith.

James 2:17 It is good to have faith but if your actions don't reflect that and glorify Him then it is useless.

This past week, I had a giveaway for a scripture print from DesignedByMonique.  Congratulations to Emily from Newlywed Moments!  You will be contacted about your prize!    Yay!!  So excited for you!
