Daily Wisdom Challenge - Week 39
On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study. Our pastor calls it the Daily Wisdom Challenge {or the "Twitter Bible Study"}. The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and post insight from your reading each day, in 140 characters or less! You can find a reading plan at YouVersion.
Here is what I learned over the past week:
Eph 3:12 Because of our faith in Christ, we now have direct access to God - a personal relationship that requires no intermediaries.
Eph 4:16 We are all part of the same body of Christ. We each have a different role, each complementing the other, to build up the kingdom.
Eph 4:32 Be kind and tenderhearted towards each other...and forgive just as God forgives you. Why is that last part so hard sometimes??
Eph 5:8-9 Now that we have turned our backs on darkness and live in the light of God, we should be that light to others.
Eph 6:13 We do not have to face the enemy alone. God has equipped us with armor to shield and protect us from the enemy. God is our strength and protector.
Is 59:1-2 It's not that God isn't listening to you or that He doesn't care. It's our sins that keep us at a distance. Consider fixing that!
Phil 1:27-28 Behave as persons living out the Gospel and stand firm in your faith against the enemy. Unite together for the cause of the faith!
