Daily Wisdom Challenge - Week 32
On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study. Our pastor calls it the Daily Wisdom Challenge {or the "Twitter Bible Study"}. The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and post insight from your reading each day, in 140 characters or less! You can find a reading plan at YouVersion.
Here is what I learned over the past week:Ps 28:6-7 When you cry out to the Lord in times of need, know that He is with you - your strength and your protection.1 Cor 3:9-11 The foundation of our lives is Jesus Christ. We must be very careful what we build on that foundation. God knows the work done on that foundation!Ps 30:11 Praise God for all his blessings so you might turn your mourning to joy!Prov 22:2 We may view ourselves as just and right but the Lord truly knows our hearts and motivations.1 Cor 6:19 Our bodies are not our own. They are part of the Body of Christ. How are we treating them??Ps 31:24 Are you troubled? Facing challenges? Put your hope in God alone. HE is your strength and courage!Prov 21:5 Taking short cuts can have disastrous results. You are far better off being slower to plan so you can pay more attention to the details.
