Daily Wisdom Challenge - Week 31

On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.  Our pastor calls it the Daily Wisdom Challenge {or the "Twitter Bible Study"}.  The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and post insight from your reading each day, in 140 characters or less!  You can find a reading plan at YouVersion.

Here is what I learned over the past week:

Ps 23 Even when we are traveling the darkest of journeys, we should not fear because God is with us protecting, comforting. Rest in Him.

Rom 14:10 Why do we spend so much time judging what others do when we all will stand in judgment one day.

Rom 15:17-18 We should be excited and enthusiastic about what Christ is doing in our lives. If we must boast about anything, boast about that!

Prov 20:18 Don't jump into any major decision without first seeking good & wise counsel.

Prov 20:19 In what ways can we improve the words that come from our mouths? Gossiping does nothing to improve a community.

1 Cor 1:10 We should constantly pray for unity within the church; that it seeks to fulfill the will of God without division.

Prov 20:22 It is not for us to exact vengeance for wrongdoing. Leave it to the Lord - it is His place to deal with those things.
