Daily Wisdom Challenge - Week 29

On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.  Our pastor calls it the Daily Wisdom Challenge {or the "Twitter Bible Study"}.  The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and post insight from your reading each day, in 140 characters or less!  You can find a reading plan at YouVersion.

Here is what I learned over the past week:

Romans 3:30 One God. No matter WHO we are, HE makes us right with him through our belief that His Son died for our salvation.

Romans 4:5 It is NOT because of our deeds or actions that God forgives us. It is because of our faith in Him!

Rom 5:3-5 Having difficulties? KNOW that God is with you and through trials, you will develop endurance/character. Be confident in God and your salvation!

Prov 19:18 Disciplining your children is GOOD for them! Lack thereof can bring ruin to their lives. Wisdom comes from being instructed in the right way.

Rom 6:16 Whichever path we decide to follow is what we become a "slave" to. Choose the right path and become a slave to God & righteous living!

Prov 19:22 I would rather have nothing and be considered loyal than to have everything through deceit.

Rom 8:5 Whatever dominates our thoughts will dominate our lives whether it is sin or the Spirit. Let it be the Spirit so that our lives may be pleasing to God.
