On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study. Our pastor calls it the "Daily Wisdom Challenge" or the "Twitter Bible Study".
The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and each day, post insight from your reading in 140 characters or less.
Here is what I learned this past week:
Acts 8:4-13 Let us continue to go out amongst the unbelievers and preach the good news and continue to bring people to Christ.
Ps 130:4 Do we blindly accept God's forgiveness or do we stop to think the cost of that forgiveness and revere Him for that sacrifice?
Acts 9:15 The Lord can use anyone - even those furthest from him - to bring people to him. Do not think you are of no use to the kingdom.
Acts 9:26 When a person far from God becomes a believer, those who knew then may be skeptical. So important to remain firm in your convictions!
Prov 17:7 Don't speak words that aren't in alignment with your true thoughts. Your words must match up with your actions.
Acts 10:43 All who believe will have their sins forgiven in Jesus' name. That is a promise we can be assured of!
Psalm 135:13 Revere the Lord and sing His praises for all the works He has done. Pass this on from generation to generation!
