Daily Wisdom Challenge 2012 - Week 18

On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.Our pastor calls it the "Daily Wisdom Challengeor the "Twitter Bible Study".

The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and each day, post insight from your reading in 140 characters or less.

Here is what I learned this past week:
{links included for the scripture referenced only}

Ps 101:1-8 We must be constantly on guard, protecting ourselves from the worldly things that seek to keep us from the heavenly kingdom.

Prov 14:15 Do not believe everything that you hear. Pray for wisdom and the ability to discern for yourself the real truth.

Ps 103:8-9 Grateful for the Lord's mercy and compassion. Praying I may become slower to react in anger/quicker in love.

John 3:16 God loved all of us so much he gave up His son - for us. What are we willing to give up for Him?

Prov 14:23 It is not enough to simply talk, you must be moved to action and work - there you will find reward!

Ps 105:1-5 As we seek the Lord, we must continually proclaim His blessings and give thanks always.

Prov 14:27 Revere the Lord and we will experience life. We will be freed from the chains of death so we might live fully with Him.
