Mexican Casserole

Today I'm sharing an easy casserole recipe with you!
My husband absolutely loved this so I'm passing it on.

The recipe is actually adapted from the
"Mexican Chicken"
recipe from a cookbook I have:
"Colorado Cook Book"{2001 edition from the "Cooking Across America Series" of cookbooks"}.

Here's what you need:
1 medium onion, chopped
butter or margarine
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can evaporated milk
1 8-oz can diced green chiles
2 cups shredded cheese
rice, flour tortillas, or tortilla chips
