On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.Our pastor calls it the "Daily Wisdom Challengeor the "Twitter Bible Study".

The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and each day, post insight from your reading in 140 characters or less.

Here is what I learned this past week:
{links included for the scripture referenced only}

Proverbs 11:18 Evil people may sense reward for what they've done in that moment, but only the godly will receive eternal reward.

Proverbs 11:20 Righteous living shows integrity. When evil exists in your heart, integrity is lost.

Psalm 64:5-7 Those with evil in their hearts encourage others to do evil thinking no one will notice. God does, and He will punish them.

Luke 5:16 Just as Jesus withdrew to the wilderness for prayer, so too must we free ourselves from distractions to our time with God.

Proverbs 11:24-25 Give generously and you will be rewarded. Withhold your riches and you will lose much.

Luke 6:35 Love your enemies and treat them with kindness. You will be greatly rewarded for your actions.

Luke 6:45 The words that leave your mouth are a byproduct of what is in your heart.
