Daily Wisdom Challenge 2012 - Week 10

On January 1, I began my second-ever year long bible study.Our pastor calls it the "Daily Wisdom Challengeor the "Twitter Bible Study".

The purpose is to engage in a reading plan for a year, and each day, post insight from your reading in 140 characters or less.

Here is what I learned this past week:
{links included for the scripture referenced only}

Mark 12:31 Love your neighbor as yourself. Not just your friends, those like you, but everyone...even the least lovable.

Proverbs 10:28 Putting hope in God will result in happiness. The same cannot ultimately be said of the things of this world.

Mark 13:33-37 Since we know not when the Lord will return, we ought to be prepared to receive Him at any time.

Proverbs 10:31 May the words I speak be truth, wise, and a help to others, not just noise.

Proverbs 11:2 There is much wisdom to be gained through the simple act of humbling yourself.

Proverbs 11:4 You can have all the money in the world, but if you aren't living a Godly life according to His will, it will not save you.

Mark 15 Jesus followed His Father's will, including dying on a cross for us. How far are we willing to go in obeying our Father?
