Thankful Thursdays Link Up - v 8

{a weekly link up}

Welcome back!

As always, there is so much to be grateful for in my life.
It is so important to remember that, even when times are challenging, there is often something you can find to be thankful for.

I am so incredibly thankful for this blog and the opportunity it gives me to share my story, my life, and my relationship with Christ with beautiful followers like you.  I am thankful for the friends that I have made through this blog...and the ones I've yet to make!  I am grateful for each of you!  Unless I'm doing a blog hop, my growth is slow...but growing.  But lately, I've grown more than usual in a short amount of time.  In fact, I just reached 200 followers late last night!  Perhaps it's prayers being heard?  Thank you to all my followers - old and new!

I am thankful for the opportunity to do an ongoing adoption fundraiser in my Etsy shop for my friend Jessica.  Buy a coffee sleeve for $4 and I will give Jessica's family $3 per sleeve sold.  I have now given Jessica a total of $48 through this fundraiser!  I just sold another three last night, so she'll have another $9 coming her way!  I am grateful, as is she, for your generosity and support!  I am honored to be contributing to this very worthy cause!

I am so thankful for my little Etsy shop.  It's just a tiny little homegrown business.  It's nothing fancy, but it has given me an opportunity to use my talents to make some simple little goodies.  I am so grateful for the sales I have had since I opened up in August and that God has blessed this little business for us!  Last week, I actually made the sale that caused my little business to break even!  I even sold a couple things after that, so I have a tiny little profit for the year!  I am grateful!  Sales are great, but there are still costs associated with starting up and keeping business going!  So grateful to be on the "other side" of the business now!

I also recently shared a story from my friend Jami who is heading to Mexico this month with her family to build houses!  Please read her story and, if you are able, contribute to this worthy cause!  You should also visit her blog {Call Me Blessed} because every Tuesday, she does a "We Encourage" link up which blesses me every week!

As always, I am so thankful to have an amazing church home.  I am beyond blessed by the love that I have been shown by our church family.  Whether it's through church staff, worship choir, Sisterhood, Won by One {special needs ministry} or friends we know from church, our family has been richly blessed in so many ways.

I am so incredibly thankful for a wonderful family.  For all they do to support us, I am so grateful.
I am so very thankful for my amazing husband and for all he does to support this family.

I am thankful for the roof over my head {even if it is a small 2 bedroom apartment}, clothes on my back {even if they are nowhere near stylish}, food on my plate, and a husband with a steady income.  Even when times are challenging, I know that God provides in many ways, and for that I am grateful.

And, last but truly first, I am thankful to God.  Thankful that He is always faithful, loving, merciful, and never-failing.  I am thankful for His grace when I fail and for always being there to show me the right path.  I am thankful for his gracious healing, for inspiration, and for hearing my prayers.  I am thankful for the patience He grants me when the answers to those prayers seem to take a lot longer than expected or they don't come in the way I expected.  I am grateful for the abundance of goodness which has blessed our family this week. I am grateful for new mercies for me each morning.

Psalm 9:1 (NIV)
I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT)
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Is there any way in which I can pray for you?
(for privacy, you can use the email link on the right side bar)

Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.
