Thankful Thursdays Link Up - v 7

WELCOME TO
THANKFUL THURSDAYS
a weekly link up!

Welcome back!

I am starting to get back into the regular groove of the blog world and
I am beyond grateful for so much this past week!

First, I am grateful for celebrating the birth of our Savior this past Sunday.  There is no better gift in the world than to have received Him.

I am always, always thankful for this blog and the opportunity it gives me to share a bit about my story and my relationship with Christ with beautiful followers like you.  I am thankful for the friends that I have made through this blog...and the ones I've yet to make!  I am grateful for each of you!

I am also grateful to my friend Kelli with whom I am hosted a "12 Days of Christmas" series on our blogs.  I know readership was way down over the holiday, but I am grateful for the readers who stopped by!

I am thankful for the opportunity to do an ongoing adoption fundraiser in my Etsy shop for my friend Jessica.  Buy a coffee sleeve for $4 and I will give Jessica's family $3 per sleeve sold.  I have now given Jessica a total of $48 through this fundraiser!  I am grateful, as is she, for your generosity and support!  I am honored to be contributing to this very worthy cause!

I also recently shared a story from my friend Jami who is heading to Mexico in January with her family to build houses!  Please read her story and, if you are able, contribute to this worthy cause!  You should also visit her blog {Call Me Blessed} because every Tuesday, she does a "We Encourage" link up which blesses me every week!

As always, I am so thankful to have an amazing church home.  I am beyond blessed by the love that I have been shown by our church family.  Whether it's through church staff, worship choir, Sisterhood, Won by One {special needs ministry} or friends we know from church, our family has been richly blessed in so many ways.  I am very blessed to be a part of our worship choir, with whom I sang in all six of our church's Christmas services.  It is an honor to be part of such an amazing group.

I am very thankful to TOMS {yes, the shoe company}.  I was selected a while back to be part of their Books For Bloggers program.  I had to read Start Something That Matters by TOMS Founder and Chief Shoe Giver {yes, that's his title} Blake Mycoskie.  I finished the book the other day and I wrote my review on Amazon as required.  I also wrote a blog post and am hosting a giveaway {also required}.  I am grateful for the opportunity to help TOMS spread their movement through my little blog.  You can read my post and enter my giveaway here.

I am so thankful for my little Etsy shop.  It's just a tiny little homegrown business.  It's nothing fancy, but it has given me an opportunity to use my talents to make some simple little goodies.  I am so grateful for the sales I have had since I opened up in August and that God has blessed this little business for us!  Last week, I actually made the sale that caused my little business to break even!  I even sold a couple things after that, so I have a tiny little profit for the year!  I am grateful!  Sales are great, but there are still costs associated with starting up and keeping business going!  So grateful to be on the "other side" of the business now!

I am so incredibly thankful for a wonderful family.  For all they do to support us, I am so grateful.
I am so very thankful for my amazing husband and for all he does to support this family.

So thankful for our families over the Christmas holidays!

And, last but truly first, I am thankful to God.  Thankful that He is always faithful, loving, merciful, and never-failing.  I am thankful for His grace when I fail and for always being there to show me the right path.  I am thankful for his gracious healing, for inspiration, and for hearing my prayers.  I am thankful for the patience He grants me when the answers to those prayers seem to take a lot longer than expected or they don't come in the way I expected.  I am grateful for the abundance of goodness which has blessed our family this week. I am grateful for new mercies for me each morning.

Psalm 9:1 (NIV)
I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT)
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Is there any way in which I can pray for you?
(for privacy, you can use the email link on the right side bar)

Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.
