Things I learned from the Daily Wisdom Challenge this week:

John 5 Listen to the word. Believe in God. Eternal life. God grants this to us through his Son.   (John 5)

Luke 6:27-36 "Love your enemies!" Be kind, compassionate, generous, and loving towards your enemies just as the Father is towards everyone.  (Matthew 12, Mark 3, Luke 6)

Matt 5:44  We should not only love our enemies just as God loves each of us, but we should also PRAY for them!  (Matthew 5 - 7)

Matt 9:37 "The harvest is great, but the workers are few." Pray for more workers to advance the kingdom of God. All have something to offer.  (Matthew 9, Luke 7)

Matt 11:28 Jesus invites those who are weary and burdened to come to him. We will find rest in him. Thankful for this.  (Matthew 11)

Luke 11:28 "But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice." How do we live out the Gospel in our lives?  (Luke 11)

Luke 8:4-15 Praying that I may be like the fertile soil where the seeds that are planted become deeply rooted and produce a great harvest!  (Matthew 13, Luke 8)
