Things I learned from the Daily Wisdom Challenge this week:

Luke 1 Look to Elizabeth & Zechariah and see that "NOTHING is impossible with God"; He uses the seemingly impossible to do great things.  (Luke 1, John 1)

Matt 1 Joseph displayed obedience to God despite how difficult things could have been for him socially. To what extent does my obedience go?  (Matthew 1, Luke 2)

Matt 2 It took full obedience to God on the part of many to ensure Jesus' safety. Again, to what extent am I willing to be obedient to Him?  (Matthew 2)

Matt 3 It is not enough to say you repent of your sins. You must turn your hearts to God and follow Him.  (Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 3)

Matt 5 Jesus came to call ordinary people to be his followers. He used ordinary people - sinners - as his first disciples.  (Matthew 4, Luke 4 - 5)

John 3 Thankful for the gift of God's Son that we might be saved.  (John 2 - 4)

Matt 8:8-10 True faith involves believing without having to see. Even if you are in a position of authority, you should still submit to God.  (Matthew 8, Mark 2)
