Things I learned from the Daily Wisdom Challenge this week:

Jer 23 Continually seek God's strength and help so that you may not be swayed by those seeking to keep you from what is right and true.  (Jeremiah 23 - 25)

***

Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans for you, declares the Lord..."//Trusting fully in His plan because it doesn't make sense a lot of the time!  (Jeremiah 26 - 29)

***

Jer 31:25 The Lord "gives rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing."//So thankful for a God who lifts me up during my trials.  (Jeremiah 30 - 31)

***

Jer 32 The Lord is merciful and has unfailing love for us, but don't expect that your sins will go unpunished.  (Jeremiah 32 - 34)

***

Jer 36 You can take God's Word and do with it what you will-destroying it doesn't make it any less true. Evil deeds will still be punished.  (Jeremiah 35 - 37)

***

Jer 39 The Lord will punish those who are evil in his eyes - those who sin against him. But he will rescue those who place trust in him.  (Jeremiah 38 - 40, Psalm 74 & 79)

***

2 Chron 36 Following what is evil = greater distance from the Lord. What kind of destruction must happen in order to bring you back to Him?  (2 Kings 24 - 25, 2 Chronicles 36)
