Things I learned from the Daily Wisdom Challenge this week:

Zephaniah 1 It is not enough to claim to worship the Lord. It should be reflected in all that you do - publicly and privately.  (Zephaniah 1 - 3)

***

Jer 3 Though we may have strayed from the Lord and don't follow His teachings, He still offers us the chance for salvation - He is merciful!  (Jeremiah 1 - 3)

***

Jer 6 The Lord offers us rest if we follow Him. Time & time again he pleads for us to follow. Rejection will eventually = punishment.  (Jeremiah 4 - 6)

***

Jer 9 The Lord delights in bringing justice/righteousness to His people. He hurts to see destruction caused by living like there was no God.  (Jeremiah 7 - 9)

***

Jer 10 Trusting in idols of any type is never good. They are powerless-can neither help nor harm you. Mind what you put your faith in!  (Jeremiah 10 - 13)

***

Jer 15 Do not speak words that are worthless, but ones that are good. Don't be influenced by evil, but influence others for His glory!  (Jeremiah 14 - 17)

***

Jer 20 Following God doesn't mean life will be easy - sometimes His path will be full of frustration, sorrow and difficulties. Trust Him!  (Jeremiah 18 - 22)
