Well, RON did it!! He ran his first 5K on Saturday! Several months ago he began training, in secret, with the idea that he WOULD run this particular 5K race. He hasn't been into running before this, but decided to motivate himself to be able to do this. Mission accomplished. Ron entered the Daniel Island 5K Run & Walk and finished 190th out of 215 with a time of 36:44, a personal best! You can view the race results HERE.

Ron and his co-worker, Chanel, and her husband David all finished the race very close to each other.
CONGRATULATIONS, RON!! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
